Back in January Nora had been asking me to make yogurt parfaits and soufflé for at least two weeks. The soufflé wasn’t and still isn’t happening yet but the parfaits we can do! And we make them often now. We love them.
It’s funny what kids can learn from a tv show, she saw this on “Butterbean’s Café”. We haven’t had the ingredients for the parfaits so I finally got all of the ingredients and we made them.
The kids loved making the parfaits by picking their fruit and putting the yogurt and granola in the cups! Even more they loved the taste! This was a fun activity for the kids and Mom too. And it’s one we will keep in our minds for another day we need a healthy snack, breakfast or addition to any meal!
What’s your favorite item in your yogurt parfaits? I want to switch them up each time so they try new fruits with the yogurt!
Here’s the recipe we used!
Ingredients for 2 Parfaits:
- 8 oz. yogurt, we used vanilla whole milk yogurt
- 1/4 cup granola, you can gladly make your own granola but a store bought granola works well
- 1 cup fresh berries (raspberries, blueberries and strawberries)
Layer the ingredients in any manner you want. We did fruit, yogurt, granola, more fruit and topped with more yogurt and a little granola!
Enjoy this with your kids and enjoy this dairy delicious snack!

Thanks for sharing this Renee. My kids LOVE yogurt parfaits . I love too that they are old enough that they can make them by themselves when they come home from school for a great snack that won’t ruin their dinner.
