Tonight as I end my day, I feel blessed to call fellow dairy farmers our friends and to be part of such a strong industry where people come together to unite for each other.
We learned of the passing of a fellow Jersey farmer this past weekend and feel such heartache for his family and fellow friends. We are thinking of you Miller family. My heart also smiles as this family requests memorials be made to the Stiles/Burdette Family. Reese Burdette is a young dairy girl who was in a house fire more than a year ago and has been in the hospital ever since. Her family are fellow dairymen in Pennsylvania and Virginia. Reese is a true inspiration for everyone. Read more about Reese here.
All of these dairy farmers demonstrate the true meaning in life and give of themselves to help others. This is why I take pride in being a part of such a community and give thanks for dairy producers and the dairy industry.
During the month of November I will be blogging with a new thanks each day! Follow along by seeing all the posts under the menu option “Farm Love” and then “30 Days of Thanks.”
