This chicken is so good we don’t mind when I make it two nights in a row! I made this favorite recipe of mine again this week for this blog post and then I knew it was the meal I needed to take to my friend who just welcomed a sweet baby boy into their life. So I made it again, the very next night! 🙂
This Parmesan Bacon Chicken is so tender and juicy and it is so delicious with all that cheese and bacon! YUM!!!

Serves: 6
Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 2 Tablespoons water
- 1½ cups grated Parmesan cheese, not shredded
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon pepper
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- 6 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
Instructions
- Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl beat together the eggs and water for your egg wash. Set aside.
- In another mixing bowl combine the Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper and garlic powder.
- Dip each chicken breast into the egg mixture and then into the cheese mixture.
- Place chicken breasts in a greased baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes. I always check the temperature of my meat with a thermometer and chicken should reach 165 degrees.
- Remove the chicken from the oven and top each chicken breast with mozzarella cheese and bacon. Place back in the oven for 2 to 4 minutes until the cheese melts.
