Meatballs are always a hit on our table. First off, we love beef. Secondly, the kids love meatballs, so it’s a win for me!
We love our favorite, BBQ Meatballs but these Honey-Garlic Meatballs easily slide into the top of some of our favorite beef dishes. These meatballs have a wonderful flavor with the honey, garlic and soy sauce and are absolutely delicious. My husband or the kids do not complain when these make it on the dinner table!
I like to serve these meatballs over rice with a side of roasted broccoli, cauliflower and carrots. You could easily serve them over cauliflower rice too.
Like the BBQ Meatballs, these are also great to make extra and freeze! I always make a double batch so I have a pan in the freezer too. I love making meals that I can double and have another meal in the freezer for busy days!

Easy
Ingredients
- 2 lbs. ground beef
- 1 cup dry bread crumbs
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 Tablespoon butter
- 3/4 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400° F. In a large bowl, place the beef, bread crumbs, eggs, milk, onion, salt and pepper. Mix well. Shape into 1-inch balls (I use a small cookie scoop and then roll them). Place on a greased baking sheet and bake, uncovered, for 25-30 minutes or until meat is no longer pink.
- Meanwhile, in a large saucepan, melt the butter and saute the garlic until tender. Stir in the ketchup, honey and soy sauce. Bring mixture to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Place meatballs into saucepan with the sauce and cook for another 5 to 10 minutes. (You could also place the meatballs in a baking dish and cover with sauce and bake for 5 to 10 minutes, I do it both ways and don’t have a preference.)
