One of my friends shared this recipe last week on her Instagram and I had to try it. I made these for lunch last week and the guys liked them. Two of them said they would eat them again, the third doesn’t give me his opinion on food… ever.
These are a great option for those wanting to cut out some carbs and make the swap to a tortilla shell, but it would also be a fun option for your kids as they could top their wrap with their favorite toppings and get into the kitchen with you.
We will definitely be making these again, thanks Jess and Peters family!
Grilled Cheeseburger Wraps

Author: Renée Norman-Kenny
Serves: 6
Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- ¼ cup onion, diced
- 3 Tablespoon ketchup
- 2 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper
- 6 flour tortilla
- 1½ shredded Cheddar cheese or chopped American cheese
- Mustard
- Dill pickles
- Tomato, sliced
- Shredded lettuce
- Any of your favorite cheeseburger toppings
- Butter
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and onions and brown the beef until it is fully cooked and onions are softened.
- Stir in the ketchup and Worcestershire sauce. Season with salt and pepper.
- Lay out the tortilla shells and add ¼ of a cup of your cheese and top with ⅙ of the cheeseburger beef mixture. Then add your cheeseburger toppings. (If you don't want your lettuce wilted, I would suggest adding on top after you grill the wrap. I put ours in the wrap and it was delicious and not too wilted.)
- Fold your tortilla like a burrito turning in the sides and then rolling. Butter each side and then grill in a skillet or on a flat grill pan to seal everything together. I grilled mine seam-side down for about 3 minutes and then flipped and grilled the second side.
- Repeat for each wrap and enjoy!
