With this heat wave, it’s a good day to post one of my favorite treats for my daughter. She loves these Frozen Yogurt Popsicles. We have a Popsicle mold like this and this recipe makes just enough to fill all four.
Now for my Frozen Yogurt Popsicles I used strawberry as my fruit but you can used anything at all – raspberries, bananas, peaches, whatever your kid likes. While I tend to have vanilla yogurt on hand, I skip the sugar and just blend the yogurt and strawberries with the lemon juice.
Another easy way to make these is to freezer your leftover smoothie if you have any! They freeze up great in my case.
Also, if anyone knows a way to have strawberry seeds in blended strawberries, let me know. 😉 My three year old now dislikes strawberry seeds. 🙂
- 1 cup yogurt, plain or vanilla
- 1 cup berries, I used strawberries, frozen or fresh
- 1 Tbsp. sugar or honey (optional)
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- In a blender, add the yogurt, fruit, honey and lemon juice. Blend until well combined.
- Pour the mix into molds and freeze overnight (need a minimum of about 6 hours). To remove from mold, run hot water over the outside of the mold until you can gently pull the pop out.
