Ingredients
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 Tablespoons water
  • 1½ cups grated Parmesan cheese, not shredded
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 6 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
Instructions
  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl beat together the eggs and water for your egg wash. Set aside.
  3. In another mixing bowl combine the Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper and garlic powder.
  4. Dip each chicken breast into the egg mixture and then into the cheese mixture.
  5. Place chicken breasts in a greased baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes. I always check the temperature of my meat with a thermometer and chicken should reach 165 degrees.
  6. Remove the chicken from the oven and top each chicken breast with mozzarella cheese and bacon. Place back in the oven for 2 to 4 minutes until the cheese melts.
