Ingredients
  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breast
  • 1 envelope Italian Salad Dressing & Recipe Mix, dry
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
Instructions
Slow Cooker:
  1. Prepare slow cooker with cooking spray or use a liner.
  2. Place chicken on the bottom of slow cooker. Sprinkle Italian seasoning over chicken and pour chicken broth over chicken.
  3. Cook on low for 4 to 5 hours. Shred the chicken and add back into the pot. Add the cream cheese and then stir until melted.
  4. Serve over pasta or rice.
Instant Pot:
  1. Place chicken on the bottom of Instant Pot. Sprinkle Italian seasoning over chicken and pour chicken broth over chicken.
  2. Close the lid and make sure the valve is set to sealed. Cook on the manual setting on high pressure for 15 minutes. Let natural pressure release for 5 minutes and then do a quick release.
  3. Once chicken is cooked, shred the chicken and place back in the pot.
  4. Turn the pot on saute and add cream cheese and then stir until melted.
  5. Serve over pasta or rice.
