As summer is approaching, we are busy in the fields and working on new and exciting project! I am always looking for quick and easy meals and this one is a favorite.
I have made it both in the slow cooker and in the Instant Pot so I shared both ways of cooking here for you! Here is to a quick and easy DAIRY recipe to kick off June is Dairy Month!

Creamy Italian Chicken

Serves: 4 servings
Ingredients
- 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breast
- 1 envelope Italian Salad Dressing & Recipe Mix, dry
- ½ cup chicken broth
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
Instructions
Slow Cooker:
- Prepare slow cooker with cooking spray or use a liner.
- Place chicken on the bottom of slow cooker. Sprinkle Italian seasoning over chicken and pour chicken broth over chicken.
- Cook on low for 4 to 5 hours. Shred the chicken and add back into the pot. Add the cream cheese and then stir until melted.
- Serve over pasta or rice.
Instant Pot:
- Place chicken on the bottom of Instant Pot. Sprinkle Italian seasoning over chicken and pour chicken broth over chicken.
- Close the lid and make sure the valve is set to sealed. Cook on the manual setting on high pressure for 15 minutes. Let natural pressure release for 5 minutes and then do a quick release.
- Once chicken is cooked, shred the chicken and place back in the pot.
- Turn the pot on saute and add cream cheese and then stir until melted.
- Serve over pasta or rice.
