More often than not, I make new meals with my leftovers and this is one of my favorites! I love to use my leftover Pulled Pork to make this BBQ Pulled Pork Pizza. The pork could easily be replaced with grilled or shredded chicken if you prefer. And if you don’t make pulled pork, simply buy some pre-made!
Another thing I like to add but of course is optional is red onion and jalapenos and serve with a dollop of sour cream on the side or on top along with cilantro.

BBQ Pulled Pork Pizza
Author: Renée Norman-Kenny
Serves: 4
Ingredients
- 1 package refrigerated pizza dough
- 4 Tablespoon BBQ sauce
- 2 cups prepared pulled pork
- 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
- Sliced jalapenos, optional (I use the ones in a jar)
- 1 cup Monterey Jack cheese
- 1 cup Mozzarella cheese
- Sour cream, optional
- Chopped fresh cilantro, optional
Instructions
- Preheat oven according to the pizza dough directions. (Typically 375 degrees or 400 degrees.)
- Lightly grease a 9 x 13 cookie sheet or your favorite pizza pan with nonstick spray and roll out the pizza dough on cookie sheet. Parbake the crust for 5 minutes and remove from oven.
- Top with BBQ sauce and spread like you would tomato sauce.
- Add the prepared BBQ pulled pork, thinly sliced red onion and sliced jalapenos (if desired, I try to place 2 or 3 slices per pizza slice). Top with cheese.
- Follow directions on pizza dough package for how long to bake the pizza.
- Top the cooked pizza with cilantro, and serve with a side of sour cream or a dollop on top!
